Post Surgery

You may be prescribed painkillers or medication to alleviate the slight breast pain and discomfort following the surgical procedure. This is normal and should subside in a few days. Wear a suitable bra and or breast band, as advised by the operating surgeon. You should follow the surgeon’s directions to heal as quickly as possible. Avoiding smoking will be key to recovery.
Post Surgery Recovery Time
The exact recovery time may vary depending on the type of breast enlargement surgery performed. Sub-glandular implants take a few days, while sub-muscular augmentation might take up to a week.
In both cases, it takes 3-8 weeks to recover fully. It is advised you refrain from driving, strenuous physical activity, and heavy lifting during this sensitive period. You can return to work if you have a desk job within three days following surgery.
