Who is the right candidate for 360 Liposuction?

If you’re struggling with your weight, and just can’t seem to get to your ideal shape despite diet and exercise, 360 Liposuction could be for you. Age, genetics, and hormone imbalance are a few factors that render it impossible for you to shed stubborn weight from problem areas despite your best efforts, and sometimes this can have a negative effect on our mental health.

360 Liposuction provides an option to target problem areas at once, delivering a result that can totally transform how patients feel about their bodies. So, if you’ve tried diets, exercise and lifestyle changes, but are yet to see the desired effects, 360 Liposuction could be for you.

Generally, ideal candidates for 360 Liposuction fit some or all of the following criteria. They might:

• not have a lot of excess skin
• have good skin elasticity
• have good muscle tone
• have fat deposits that won’t go away with diet or exercise
• be in good physical shape and overall health
• not be overweight or obese
• not smoke.

What can I expect from post-op and recovery?

Your procedure could take anywhere between 1-3 hours. This depends on which areas are being focussed. But luckily, liposuction has minimal downtime. You’ll be able to walk straight away, shower within 24 hours and resume work within 3-4 days, though this can vary from patient to patient, so it’s always best to follow your doctor’s advice.

The first week after surgery, the areas affected will be wrapped in a compression garment to alleviate pain, bruising and swelling. For three to five weeks after surgery it is likely you’ll experience pain and some swelling, though it should have mostly subsided by week six. By week six you probably won’t have to wear your compression garment any longer, and you can resume all normal activities.

At Manchester Private Hospital, we have specially designed recovery areas to ensure that your post-op experience is comfortable. We’re on hand to look after you and ensure you’re recovering in the comfort of your own home as smoothly as possible.
